Our story

Quest Community Church grew out of a calling God gave Bill and Mary Walker in 2005. They moved their family to Bellefontaine, Ohio to start a new church. Together with a small group of people, they dreamed of a church that was built on relationships, where anyone could come and feel welcome.

Quest West Liberty

On Dec. 3, 2006, 21 people attended the first service of Quest Community Church at the Friendly Senior Center in Bellefontaine. Little by little, the church began to grow, and within a few years Quest needed more space. In January of 2010, Quest moved to its current location, the site of the former Vintage Inn Restaurant in West Liberty. From those few, we have grown in to a church community with more than 360  in weekly attendance and growing. On July 10, 2016, Quest broke ground for the new sanctuary, gathering space, offices that will be attached to the current building. We will begin worshiping in the new building on June 24/25, 2017.

Quest Indian Lake

God gave Quest's leadership the vision to start a campus of Quest at Indian Lake in October 2013. For about 18 months, we did a lot of praying and seeking God's will and direction. We hired Scotty Brooks as the Indian Lake pastor in March 2015. He went to work finding a location, meeting with community members and recruiting a team to start this new work. The first service was held at the Indian Lake Middle School on November 2, 2015. On July 3, 2016, the church moved to its present location at 8081 State Route 366, Russells Point.
